Cody Easterday and his family own and operate Easterday Farms, a diverse, third-generation farming operation in Pasco, Washington. His grandfather started the business in 1957. Cody has spent the last decade building a state of the art cattle feeding operation where over 100,000 cattle are cared for each year. The Easterday family takes pride in producing quality beef cattle with careful attention to the care of the cattle and the environment. Cody understands that the profitability of his business depends on his ability to go above and beyond regulations. “We are profit-driven company. If we implement the best environmental, safety and employee standards, it stands to reason that we will have higher profits.”

Beef production contributes over $2.17 billion to Washington’s economy each year, as well as providing employment opportunities in countless rural farming communities.
